ایونٹ 22 سے 27 اکتوبر تک کولمبو میں ہوگا۔4 ٹی ٹونٹی میچوں میں قومی خواتین کرکٹ ٹیم کی نمائندگی کرنے والی رامین شمیم نے حال ہی میں قومی ایک روزہ خواتین سہہ فریقی چمپئن شپ کی فاتح پی سی بی بلاسٹرز کی قیادت کرچکی ہیں۔
ایونٹ میں قومی خواتین ایمرجنگ ٹیم اپنا پہلا میچ 22 اکتوبر کو سری لنکا کے خلاف کھیلے گی۔ پاکستان ٹیم 23 اکتوبر کو بنگلہ دیش اور 25 اکتوبر کو بھارت سے مقابلہ کرے گی جبکہ ایونٹ کا فائنل مقابلہ 27 اکتوبر کو کھیلا جائے گا۔قوانین کے مطابق اسکواڈ میں شامل 11 خواتین کھلاڑیوں کی عمر 23 سال سے کم ہوگی جبکہ 23 سال یا اس سے زائد عمر کی حامل صرف 3 کھلاڑیوں کو فائنل الیون میں شرکت کی اجازت ہوگی۔ رامین شمیم کے علاوہ اسکواڈ میں میں شامل فاطمہ ثناءخان، جویریہ رو¿ف، ماہم طارق، نشرہ سندھو اور منیبہ علی قومی خواتین کرکٹ ٹیم کی نمائندگی کرچکی ہیں۔قومی ایک روزہ خواتین سہہ فریقی چمپئن شپ میں بہترین کھیل کا مظاہرہ کرنے والی کھلاڑیوں کو کولمبو میں شیڈول ایونٹ کے لیے اسکواڈ میں شامل کیا گیا ہے۔ ایشیائی حریفوں کے خلاف عمدہ کارکردگی دکھانے والی کھلاڑیوں کو بنگلہ دیش کے خلاف ہوم سیریز کے لیے قومی خواتین کرکٹ ٹیم میں شامل کیا جاسکتا ہے۔پاکستان اور بنگلہ دیش کی خواتین ٹیموں کے درمیان سیریز 26 اکتوبر سے 4 نومبر تک لاہور میں کھیلی جائے گی۔
بنگلہ دیش کے خلاف سیریز میں شرکت کے بعد قومی خواتین کرکٹ ٹیم کو آئی سی سی ویمنز چیمپئن شپ کے دو راو¿نڈز میں شرکت کے ساتھ ساتھ آئندہ سال آسٹریلیا میں شیڈول آئی سی سی ویمن ٹی ٹونٹی ورلڈکپ میں بھی شرکت کرنی ہے۔ ایونٹ کے لیے 15 رکنی اسکواڈ پر مشتمل تربیتی کیمپ 5 اکتوبر سے ہائی پرفارمنس سنٹر ملتان میں شروع ہوگا۔
اسکواڈ میں رامین شمیم (کپتان)، عائشہ نسیم، فاطمہ ثناءخان، حفصہ خالد، حرینہ سجاد، جویریہ رو¿ف، کائنات حفیظ، ماہم طارق، منیبہ علی، نجیہ علوی، نشرہ سندھو، نورین یعقوب، سیدہ عروب شاہ، طوبہٰ حسین اور وحیدہ اختر میں شامل ہیں ۔ریزرو میں عائشہ ناز، نتالیہ پرویز، سوہا فاطمہ اور سیدہ خدیجہ چشتی شامل ہیں جبکہ شاہد انور (کوچ)، وقار اورکزئی(اسسٹنٹ کوچ)، ساجدہ فجر (فزیو تھراپسٹ) اورتیمور محمود (ٹرینر) اسپورٹ اسٹاف میں شامل ہیں جبکہ ٹیم اینالسٹ کا نام فائنل ہونا باقی ہے۔
